The Iron Fist of the Black Sun

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

Did you ever wonder who the Black Sun sent when they really want to get something done? Not really the smart and diplomatic way, but done?

Meet the Iron Fist of the Black Sun.

Commander Kaiten of the Black Sun

Still subject to change, though that probably applies solely to his number in the set.

Just a cog in the machine?

I know you guys are really waiting for previews. We are almost there - here is one that might be done (as in: subject to change, but probably you’ll see him in print like this).

Crimson Coast pre-order reminder

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

Just a reminder: Crimson Coast pre-orders run till April 3rd. All orders paid until then get the Sir Robert/Takaxras combo per set ordered (whether it’s a private customer, a club or a store ordering doesn’t matter). The set still is well on schedule for April 30th (and we’ll start spoilers soon).

The L2P set will come out on April 10th, but I’ll send the copies for the US along with CC.

I expect the pre-orders to be well in their new owners hands by end of the first week of May.

No believee me? Here you go:

Oh, and did you notice the little bunch of icons below each post? That allows you to copy a certain blog post directly into your favorite social network, like Facebook or MySpace. Or make Warlord be seen by DiggIt, etc. If you miss a service you use, tell me.

To Die Free, Part I

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

by Laurence Sinclair

Of course the city is quiet. That’s part of their charm, the appeal that lures people in. What I’ve been longing for these last few months.

Those scouts that I’ve been running with, they wouldn’t understand. They could identify dozens of different animals in a forest from tracks alone, tell which fruits aren’t poisonous and move through the trees as if invisible. One day in a city and they’re lost, though.

Warlord auf Deutsch

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

Some of you may have wondered why I wasn’t posting all the much. Easy really: No time and deadlines looming. From April 3rd to 5th the Role-Play Convention takes place for the third time (this time, unfortunately, in Cologne). The big thing about this is, that the organizer has a very unique view on what “Fantasy Role-Play” is.

Summer is coming…

Friday, March 13th, 2009

and it’s going to be hot!

My window is wide open - and has been for an hour. It definitely smells of spring outside (at least here in the Northern Hemisphere).

Winter Campaign is over - and from what I heard (and found at the one I attended) it was a lot of fun. Despite my tendency to always reinvent the wheel, this time I’ll just stick to what we have.

Hereby I announce my Call for Proposals for Summer Campaign 2009!

I am currently planning for 10-11 events world-wide (6 in the US, 3 in Europe, one in South America, one in Asia), targeted at an audience of 20-40 players each.

There will a prize package a TO will need to buy, including product, promo cards, and medals. The winners of the tournaments will get to select a favorite enemy for their faction, and this will be implemented through a card that works best for their faction against that enemy faction. This card of course will bear the winner’s name on it and mostly likely be in expansion set #4.

You have a great idea what you would like to have included in the prize package? Well, tell me, too.

The time frame is April 15th to July 15th plus September.

Some TO’s that drew a short straw during Winter Campaign despite offering a decent proposal take precedence this time.

So - if you are interested in organizing a Summer Campaign event, drop me a PM (Arven) on cardmasters.de that includes your e-mail address, and I will send you the call for proposals pdf detailing all that must go into that proposal.

I am really looking forward to your proposals!
