The Iron Fist of the Black Sun

Did you ever wonder who the Black Sun sent when they really want to get something done? Not really the smart and diplomatic way, but done?

Meet the Iron Fist of the Black Sun.

Commander Kaiten of the Black Sun

Still subject to change, though that probably applies solely to his number in the set.

  4. Captain Paratos Al Sim Says:

Very good warlord. He won’t be busted beyond belief but he will be solid. Even when he doesn’t have a steed equipped he has great stats, and when he does have a steed? YOWZERS! While he’ll also be playing the cavalry game like Brymin he’ll be distinctly different. Thank you very much Jeremiah for a great warlord.

Is the react designed to be able to target other players’ characters?

“Is the react designed to be able to target other players’ characters?”

It just says ‘target paladin’, not ‘target paladin you control,’ so yes, you can target opposing characters. Which can be very handy if you want to, say, spend the opposing warlord, so you can freely move up to finish him off. Yeah, he gets to attack, so it is something you have to weigh carefully. Remember though, these may not be the final versions of these warlords.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^
I am making the assumption that you understand I meant spend the opposing warlord (or any other character) only if they have the paladin trait.

  15. T3chno Says:

    @Greg
A character cannot perform a action, even a nested one, if there are no valid targets for the action. A character in the second rank cannot attack if there will be no targets for his melee strikes.

  16. Rafus Says:

But, can he target more the one paladin per initiative to make an attack?

  17. Greg Says:

    @ T3chno
Yeah, I know that, I meant opposing Paladin warlords, which would mean only one, the Dev in question for 4th edition, but a lot more in Ancients.

    @ Rafus
    No

  18. Greg Says:

    @ T3chno
I meant to say, yes, I only meant in the front rank.
