Their history is closely tied in with the Elves from other realms. Their fate has driven them to a safe place. A dark place. A dangerous places.

The Vaneris fled before the onslaught and they went deep. They adapted. Now the Vaneris return from the Deep to wreak havoc upon the land-living. And worst of all is their queen.

    WTF is the decree phase?

  4. BaronFireblade Says:

W O W is she beautiful!!! I`ll play her just for the picture!! The wait was worth it (last Warlord spoiled…). Have to read the rules again (decree phase)…
    Great work!!!

  5. BaronFireblade Says:

And THAT will be a nice alt. artwork ;-)))))

Very interesting spend react. Maxed out at a DC 17 it is pretty scary for it’s power to shut things down and inflict a lot of wounds. Also with it being a stamina check no worries about Magic Resistance. I like her a lot. She’ll have a tough time unseating Morghen for competitive tournament play but she is a lot more fun to work with in my opinion. Great Job!

Such a beautiful piece of artwork.
I will definitely build a deck with her.

    […] Thalaasa […]

  13. Buio Says:

Question: her spells are considered Water actions… what about spells with another “elemental trait”? Does it stack?

    I.E.: Incinerate? Will become a fire+water action?

  14. Siddin Says:

Yes, it becomes both a water and fire action. Phantom steed becomes a water and air action, etc.

  15. Buio Says:

    Ok, thanks.

  16. Iceman Says:

Guys - there is no order phase. The decree phase is when you have characters perform orders, put characters into play, and pass.

I’d say that it was well worth the wait as well. She isn’t on the strong side… but most wizards aren’t. It’s all about the DC madness… ^_^

A new elven warlord is always welcomed. I can’t wait to get my own. So that means that her check has the potential to be like… a DC 9 + 8 (2 per spell, 4 removed)…
17 to wound and leave spent.

I’m liking it a whole bunch.
