Assistant Brand Manager
Job Description
As Assistant Brand Manager for the Warlord: Saga of the Storm range you will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the sites as well as community support. You will be able to formulate new marketing strategies and implement them - guerilla style. Ideally in addition to professional skills in marketing and graphics, you will be familiar with the game, its promotion and support. This is a volunteer position, i.e. no wages are currently being paid. This also is a virtual position, meaning that you will not relocate but work from your home. A PC and Internet connection is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Keeping existing websites updated, developing extra content.
- Preparing online marketing graphics like Previews, banners, etc.
- Initiate a viral marketing campaign for Warlord online.
- Administrate world-wide price support.
- Spearhead fresh ideas for the game
Qualifications/Experience:
- Background in marketing/sales and/or art/graphics.
- Practical knowledge of web languages (PHP, HTML, phpMyAdmin) and online content management systems as well as Photoshop and InDesign.
- Good knowledge of the gaming market in at least one country.
- Excellent written English, additional languages are optional.
- Self-Motivated, without the need of continuous direction.

that’s a lot of responsibility for one man (especially a unpaid job). I hope for the sake of that willing person that the position he is in quickly turns into a paying job. and while he is not getting paid he should definitely be overwhelmed with Warlord cards on the house…

How about we let PI and a successful candidate, man or woman, work out any compensation package and rather focus on supporting the effort and process so that we all might benefit from the improved posture?

And only 4 days to the release date of SoO (still on the shop: The release date for Sands of Oblivion is November 30th, 2009.)!!!! Since no one said that there would be any delays, will we get the cards as announced (next monday)??? Otherwise, some update would be nice, just some information…
