Clubs and Stores may break my Bores
Wednesday, March 5th, 2008Our once great community has shrunk somewhat - alongside the network of stores. But even before, there were some stores that couldn’t afford to offer playing space. This poses some problems with getting promo cards where they belong - in your hands!
Starting in July we’ll offer the first set of tournament legal promo cards for Warlord 4E tournaments to TOs. In order to become a TO you will have to be 18 years of age and be affiliated with either a brick & mortar store or a gaming club.
Now, that’s new. What is a gaming club? How do I get one? Basically you get at least four players together and give you club a name. Done. They’ll be published so new players can look you up and join you.
You then apply for support, play the tournaments and report the results. Those TOs who make themselves known and provide a positive play experience for their players will be eligible for more advanced event kits.
That’s the basics. Once we approach printing time in June we’ll tell you exactly how to apply.
