When players have a choice to bring some favorite characters back it’s always a line act to bring it into a proper context of 4th edition. Here’s Chris Vacarro’s and John Zimmerman’s favorite noblewoman (or so one would think):

How I hate it when they do it … again…and again…and AGAIN!!! GRRRRR!!!!!! She may be more balanced now, and she is still good, but…grrrrrrr. I know recycling old art is cheaper, but it angers me a lot when so many old favorites are massacred… And then I have to pay 90 Euros to get all the old cards I already have in a butchered version…NOT FUNNY! If all the delays and not delivered product doesn`t bother me, THAT does…a lot! And most, because I always have to explain to people: “Oh, that card is errated, that too…you just have to remember…”.

…So go bitch at Chris and John, who chose this card to comeback. This was a prize they won and deserved. Honestly, bitching about the +1 level going away is pretty weak anyway.

If there was a provision that the card could be changed to be more balanced for the current format, then one would assume that there could have also been a provision to change the card name while still maintaining the flavor of the original card.

I’m happy with her downgrade. She was always just too good in her original +1 lvl version. I’m impressed that they didn’t have to tone her down any more than they did. She does great things to improve the Deverenian faction focus in 4E.

Why do they reprint things? If you’re going to nerf it, why not just make “Lady Corinne” or something and stop messing up older cards?
