Warlord 4th Edition CCG - the epic fantasy card game

Hi guys!

Many of you who want to pre-order the upcoming APS #22 and #23 are thinking about joining the Ordo Phoenicis Ascendentis first, in order to take advantage of the additional 10% discount (good thinking).

In order to make the process a bit more transparent (unfortunately it involves quite a bit of bookkeeping for me, and hence potential for error on my part), here’s your (mine actually) Ordo checklist.

• Step 1: You either buy an Ordo membership in the US shop | Buy a membership through the membership website |  Or buy Aeris in the European shop (if you live in Europe, of course). If none of these options appy to you, contact me directly (via the shop or Arven at the Cardmasters.de forum).
• Step 2: Make sure you are registered at www.cardmasters.de. Please enter your name (same as in the order) and use the same e-mail address, so I can identify you more easily. This is important, so I can give you access to the “secret” Ordo members forum.
• Step 3: All send-outs (the upcoming promo cards, for example) will be done with the data I have accumulated at ordo.warlordccg.de . Please make sure that you have an account there and the account’s address is current!
• Step 4: On your next order, make sure the 10% discount you get on card product in the Shop (talking US shop only here, while the new EU shop is not up yet) is shown. If it is not, it’s most likely that I haven’t set your account to “Ordo member” yet, because I missed some information on the previous steps or simply overlooked it.

I wish this were any easier, but once this is set up, things should run pretty smoothly ;-).

Pre-orders in the US have been open for a while, but Europeans couldn’t join the the fray. The reason for this is that I am working on “mirroring” the new US shop for the “European Theater” as well, but local tax laws make this a bit more difficult and requires some more testing.

Due to this and starting today and till March 15th you’ll be able to pre-order the second batch of the City of Gold Expansion - the Nothrog Set #22 “Call of the Jaguar” and the Dwarf Set #23 “The Champion” at the old address.

In addition to the promo card “Ikzi” I will add other random current promo cards to all pre-orders (Europe only - but I am sure Don will add something to the pre-orders as well - you know him, right?).

There have been a few problems with the new online shop recently - mainly with the discount rules not displaying properly.

As it turns out - the shop software is being improved constantly, and the documentation I had was a little bit off. I have now revisited the rules set (as they like to call it allows for “very powerful options” - different words for “it’s quite complicated to get it right” ;-)) and reset the shop options.

My tests tell me that now it works properly - all Ordo members get 10% on all card products, while all retailers get their percentage indicated in both the store as well as the shopping cart.

And no, it’s not the recycled art from Scarab ;-).

Yes, a reference to the famous Buffy episode. Loved it (never liked Buffy herself that much, but the show had some of the greatest fantasy, fun, martial arts choreography mix ever).

What has it to do with this guy? Err, not much, but the art inspired me (think Black and White here).
