KoHIT X results

Sunday, November 27th, 2011

The last KoHIT turned out to be bitter-sweet: It was great to see some of the old guard there - Sy Hughes made his way over from the UK, bringing along Tom and Ellen van Kerkhoven from Belgium. Carlos Gaedtke came all the way from Brazil - again! and indomitable Manolis Trahiotis came from Athens.

Some last minute cancellations could have dampened spirits, but in the end everything went okay - the location turned out to be ideal for our purpose.

Special kudos go out to Oliver Maschmeier - he is the only person to attend all 10 KoHITs as a player (Manolis is the other person to have been at every single one of them).

For results, please continue (more…)

2011 Winter Campaign Page

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

Updating all the Winter Campaign information right now - and assembling them on an easy to access page (You can see it to the right, too, or by clicking on the quick fix banner I did for the Cardmasters forum, see below).

Now that Chase Causey has won the second Winter Campaign event with Captain Alera (congratulations to winning the tournament; and John has published a nice blog about the event!) and has voted “No” as well, the current score is Yes 0 : No 2.

Time for the Elf camp to get organized and come up with a few war plans (and new allies, perhaps), don’t you think?

Arionrhod - willst thou stay lost?

Wednesday, January 19th, 2011

It’s official now: The Winner of the New Jersey Winter Campaign event, Steve Appleton, selected “No” to the Lost Bride.

With that it’s Yes 0 : No 1.

Congratulations on your win in a 43-player-tournament and thanks go to Chris Vaccaro for organizing a great event!

Try this - but don’t come crying afterwards, if it cuts you.

The third Wind

Monday, January 10th, 2011

While proposals are coming in from all over the world (and in a higher number than I anticipated), here’s the third wind that is at Winter’s side.

The Cutting North Wind - Lord Winter’s powerful pet

This is the last wind - the fourth one would be The Thawing South Wind - and Lord Winter does not like that ;-). Just kidding.
